1955 Schwinn Catalog Now Online

1955 Schwinn catalogI am trying to get all the Schwinn catalogs online from 1899 to 2010.

It is quite a project and I am looking for volunteers to type up these catalogs from scans (so far I have typed up several of these catalogs and as a two finger typer, it is rough going).

I am also seeking those who know how to use a blog.

If you can help with either typing or blogging, please contact me.

Today I am pleased to say the 1955 Schwinn Bicycle Catalog is up live on the site.

I look forward to getting more catalogs online soon.

By getting these catalogs online we are not only preserving Schwinn history, but we also make the wealth of text in these catalogs searchable and more easily accessed by those who need it.

    I have a schwinn fleet 24 inch bike red and white. Its all original. Has front and back lights.

    I will be doing a post called “Lebanon on 2 wheels” on my blog Amish Stories.www.Amishstorys.com….. I have a 1980 Schwinn Varsity that i bought from a bike collector around 10 years ago. It came in the orig Schwinn dealer and was never rode. It still has the orig Schwinn tires (made in usa). I have other Schwinns that are older.
